Four Pillars

Themes

The After Intelligence series is organized around four interconnected themes, each exploring a different dimension of AI's impact on creativity, society, and the future.

01

AI & Creative Practice

Exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and artistic creation—from generative art to AI-assisted design.

02

Ethical Positions

Confronting the moral dimensions of AI—bias, surveillance, labor, and the politics of machine intelligence.

03

Futures & Speculation

Imagining what comes next—speculative design, science fiction prototyping, and visions of AI-shaped tomorrows.

04

AI & Materiality

Grounding the digital in the physical—the environmental costs, infrastructure, and embodied realities of AI.

Interconnected Perspectives

These four pillars are not separate silos but interconnected lenses. An artist working with AI must grapple with ethical questions. Speculation about the future requires understanding AI's material infrastructure. Each event in the series will draw on multiple themes, reflecting the complex reality of AI's role in our world.
